Handwashing Education
Keeping hands clean is one of the most important things we can do to stop the spread of germs and stay healthy. Using a fluorescent gel that simulates germs, participants rub the gel on their hands, then wash their hands and return to see how well they washed. With this education station, the health professional teaches participants proper hand washing technique, and provides education on when and how often to wash properly. Includes educational materials on CDC handwashing recommendations.
Stress Education
Did you know stress can affect your health? With this education station, the health professional will provide education about the kinds of stress, why we get stressed, how it affects your health and how you can manage your stress. Includes stress dots and stress test exams. Educational materials on stress management and prevention are provided.
Physical Activity and Fitness
Exercise is a major key to a long, healthy life. With this education station, learn from a certified fitness professional why exercise is so important to your health, how to make exercise a fun part of your daily life, and how to develop a lifelong exercise habit. Learn about the importance of both cardiovascular and strength training exercise. As part of the display, there will be samples of popular at-home exercise accessories to show what they are, how to use them properly. Get your questions answered by a fitness professional. Educational handouts include information on fitness, metabolism, and nutrition.
